Singapore's first ever intergrated copper refinery and manufacturing facility in Tuas is built by Singapore Copper Technologies Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advance SCT Limited. This manufacturing facility employs the latest technology in furnace and continuous vertical casting methodology to produce highly refined oxygen-free copper products for the electronics industry in Asia.
The copper refinery will commence production in 3Q 2008. The first furnace is capable of producing 18,000 MT of highly refined oxygen-free copper balls. Over the course of the next two years, the addition of the second and third furnace will bring the total design capacity to 54,000 MT.
