Waste Management

Wastewater treatment plants

Advance SCT owns a wastewater treatment plant in Shenyang, China, that is fully-equipped with a team of trained personnel and has been operational since the first quarter of 2013. The plant is currently able to treat 20,000 metric tons of wastewater a day at a discharge quality of Grade 1B (based on the Chinese standards for wastewater treatment). Facility-expansion plans are in the pipeline, and the plant’s treatment capacity is projected to reach 100,000 metric tons of wastewater a day within the facility’s 30-year Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contract with the local government.

Advance SCT is looking to partner a major wastewater treatment player to expand its waste management portfolio, with the view of spinning it off eventually.
